Overview: Recently I started a gardening club at school. During the club fair, we gathered 78 new members and established a section in the Davenport Greenhouse. Our team set up pots and purchased seeds and seedlings from Tractor Supply. This spring, we planted roses, asparagus, and onions.
We’re planning to grow the roses to sell for events like prom and Valentine’s Day. We also created a google form to gather plant suggestions from our members. Our goal is to purchase and care for these seedlings, with the hope that these can become a companion in the members’ dorm rooms. We’re excited to expand our efforts with more planting in the fall of 2026. Stay tuned for more updates from the gardening club!
